I am a 18 year old male. I am also Asian( race play a big role). Despite of the fact that i look intelligent, i am pretty dumb. I am also shy. If i mange a conversation it always end in a awkward moment of silence. Do you have any tips because i really want to have a girlfriend.

race doesnt play any role. Any race can be shy or akward or whatever.
Just be confident in yourself, and think that you re just like everyone else or even better.
No one is better than you whether they be white, black or gold
talk more, and dont worry, you’d be fine. practice makes perfect

So me and a friend are planning to go to new york city and date. We are only 19 so no drinking for us. Now I want to spend a medium amount of money (maybe 100$ ). And nothing fancy like a french restauraunt.

What are some things we can go to around new york city? Preferably somewhere near the new york penn station.

Currently the date consists of Lunch and a Movie and a sight seeing with 2 disposible cameras.

I was going to tell you to do lunch at a place that’s not an obvious tourist trap like TGI Friday’s in Times Square. I would steer towards ethnic and low-key. For example, check out something like Sea Thai Restaurant in Williamsburg or Lemongrass Grill. You can have a good meal for 2 for about 20-30 bucks in a cool place.

As for the movies, I believe the tickets are about $ 10 give or take at any theater.

lol, That doesn’t change with older women either. Trust me on this, it is all individual, unless you are dating a girl that’s 14. Women who are older, 30s and 40s, f**k around too. you just have to find one that understands what you want, and be both on the same page. no matter the age.

We are only an hour apart, but I am worried that we wont be able to stay near as close as we have been, and that we will just drift apart. Hey honestly this will be an eye opener for him and you. Unfortunately a lot of people change once they hit college.
Not true in all cases but you know there are a lot of pressures. Long distance can work but I think when college is added into the mix it’s even harder.

Try to communicate as much as possible. But also remember school should come first… after all that’s why you’re there. Don’t slack on your education over some drama with the dude or anyone else.
Make it a point to visit each other and spend time in each others new lives.

At the end of the day, we all know how college is. Even if you don’t want to admit to it, people do “Look” get stupid and people do cheat.
That’s why most people break off relationship ties before entering.
